–Tuesday morning, Harris County PCT 5 Constable Ted Heap will release disturbing details that surfaced after a team of PCT 5 investigators thoroughly looked into similar aggravated robberies and thefts that occurred in Southwest Houston.
 
Their investigation led them to a group of young juvenile suspects who have allegedly preyed on numerous residents in the area over the last four months. Some of the victims are elderly. One of the victims is a 79-year-old man. He will join Constable Heap at the press conference.While out on his regular evening walk, the victim was beaten with his own walking stick by four suspects. They pointed a gun at him and demanded money before running off when they were spotted by a witness.
 
The first two juveniles arrested by PCT 5 investigators happened over the weekend. The suspects are just 11 and 12 years old. Another juvenile was arrested Monday. Their identities are being withheld because of their juvenile status.
 
The investigation is far from over, and PCT 5 investigators say additional arrests are expected. Constable Heap says PCT 5 is looking at the possibility that this group could be responsible for 26 criminal casesdating back to May of 2017.
